Andy Gleadhill
Classroom Percussion
Andy Gleadhill has over thirty years' experience as a professional musician and teacher. His performing career has seen him playing with some of the world's leading recording artists and orchestras in film, television, and recording sessions as well as many live and West End Shows.
As a teacher and teacher trainer he has worked in all areas of music education from early years and special educational needs settings to post graduate work at universities and music conservatoires. He is a visiting lecturer in Ethnomusicology at Bath Spa University and teaches on the specialist secondary music PGCE course.
Andy currently has had five books published on world music themes and many papers and articles published in academic journals and specialist magazines. He regularly delivers lectures to music, arts and educational conferences around the world.
Andy is currently the Head of Bristol Arts and Music Service and Director of the Bristol Centre for Music and the Arts, UK.
